Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 19 goals in 12 games this season. The Portugal star won the Fifa Ballon D’Or last season and will be looking to win it once again this year. Ronaldo was also awarded the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. Ronaldo has scored 20 La Liga hat-tricks till now, two away from breaking Telmo Zarra and Alfredo Di Stéfano’s record.

Luis Suarez completed a £75m move to La Liga giants Barcelona in the summer. The former Liverpool star scored 31 goals for Liverpool last season, despite missing the first six games, winning the Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player of the Year, Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, Barclays Premier League Player of the Year, Barclays Premier League Golden boot Winner and European Golden Boot award. Luis Suarez is also the all time leading goal scorer of Uruguay. According to the BBC, Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick every 20.3 Premier League games, “the best rate of all 46 players to have scored more than one treble” in league. Suarez also became the first player to score three hat-tricks against the same club in the Premier League. Suarez also became the fastest player to score 20 goals in a season in the Premier League history.
