Serge Gnabry has 50/50 chance to leave Arsenal before tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.

That’s according to transfer guru Emanuele Giulanelli.

The Italian journalist has made a number of bold claims this summer – to varying degrees of success.

But he was one of the first to report Arsenal’s interest in Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafa. Both subsequently joined the Gunners.

Gnabry’s way down the pecking order at Arsenal and is set to sign for Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany.

But Giulanelli believes Gnabry’s future depends on what Jack Wilshere – who is available for loan – does.

He tweeted: “Wilshere loan might be just until January, Arsenal trying to get Serge Gnabry to sign a new deal & don’t want him to go on a permanent deal.

“Gnabry deal is 50/50 at the moment. Player has to decide whether to sign the new deal or not before the end of the window.

“Arsenal would rather cash in than let him go on a free next year if he doesn’t want to stay beyond then.”

Arsenal are reportedly looking to send Jack Wilshere out on loan this season to give the midfielder a chance to revive his injury-plagued career.

Wilshere has lost his place as a regular starter after missing nearly all of last season with a broken ankle and will be allowed to go on a season-long loan in search of playing time.

He could be one of several players to exit temporarily before the transfer window ends on Wednesday, with centre-back Calum Chambers also set for a season-long loan move to Middlesbrough.

Wilshere has made just two substitute appearances this season and was even left out of Sam Allardyce’s first England squad due to his lack of playing time. The midfielder, who made his Arsenal debut at 16 but has seen his progress stunted by a number of serious injuries, could now be sent abroad or to another Premier League club in order to get his career back on track.
