Big Upset: Liverpool’s Top Transfer Target And Klopp Favorite Signs New Deal With Current Club

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool seem to have lost a bit of their spark from the start of the season as they have now failed to win any of their last three Premier League games this January.
With just 2 points from the last two games, the Reds are currently in the 4th place in the points table, 10 points off Chelsea at the top and they are slowly moving out of the title race.
The manager used his full strength squad in the loss to Swansea but they dearly missed the services of winger Sadio Mane who is busy in the AFCON.
This has seen the Reds linked with a number of star players recently and one such name that has been doing the rounds recently is Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic.
The 18-year old US international broke into the first team at the Signal Iduna Park only last season but he has already become an integral part of the squad with Dortmund refusing to even listen to offers from other clubs.
Michael Zorc, the Sporting Director of the German outfit, recently revealed that the teenage sensation is not for sale and they have now made it even hard for Liverpool to get their man.
Borussia Dortmund have today revealed that Christian Pulisic signed a new contract extension with the club till 2020.

The 18-year old is a player that Jurgen Klopp thinks highly off and it was understood that he was their primary transfer target for the summer.
But Dortmund were adamant to let him go and Liverpool were unable to get their man at the start of the season.
The Reds have been keeping track of their star for while now but they were given a huge blow with this latest news.
The USA International has now officially extended his contract till 2020 leaving Liverpool with little chance of snapping him up anytime soon.
“I still need to learn a lot,” Pulisic said on the club’s official website.
“I have the best conditions for it here at Dortmund, and I have the chance to play in front of over 80,000 people. We have the best fans in the world. It can’t get better than this,” he added.
At 18, the winger has a lot of future and is still learning the game and it might not be the end of the world for Liverpool who can come back in a couple of years time to test the German club’s resolve.
Do you think Pulisic should have made a move to the Premier League?
