According to latest reports, Tottenham have agreed for a £10.7milllion deal to sign Paris Saint Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi. The 30-year old forward has struggled to hold down a regular first team place under current Paris St-Germain boss Laurent Blanc.
The Argentine is set to sign a four year deal with North London club which will see him at Spurs till 2019. The player has drawn interested from a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
PSG are looking to offload some of their aging stars so that they could make enough budget for Paul Pogba transfer as many clubs are fighting for the Juventus midfielder. The transfer of Lavezzi means that PSG could make more money to their transfer budget as they can cut his considerable wages.
The player currently has only one year left in his contract and Tottenham have reportedly got him for a cut-price deal. The former Napoli forward have reportedly broke out with PSG boss Laurent Blanc and is delighted to move away from the French giants.
The player has made only 19 starts to PSG this season despite making 45 appearances for the French giants
