Morgan Schneiderlin has been a tricky player to handle for Southampton. He has been quite vocal about wanting to leave Southampton and play at a higher level. Tottenham and Arsenal have been regularly credited with an interest to secure the Frenchman’s services.

In a recent report coming The Telegraph, Tottenham are getting loosing hope of signing Morgan Schneiderlin and are fearful of losing him to their arch rival Arsenal. The Telegraph reports that Arsenal are preparing a massive January bid to beat their neighbours to Schneiderlin’s signature.

Morgan Schneiderlin was one of the established names to have stayed at St. Marys in a massive overhauling of the squad and to everyone’s surprise, Schneiderlin was the most keen to leave. Mourissio Pochettino joined Tottenham after a successful season with Southampton and has been looking to link up with Schneiderlin ever since.

It is well documented how Arsenal are in critical need of signing a tough central mid field player. With injuries to Ramsey, Wilshere and Ozil, Arsenal are a bit light weighted in mid field and Mikel Arteta losing his touch has not helped Arsenal’s causes.

The Telegraph reports that Tottenham are worried about Arsenal prearing a January bid to sign Morgan Schneiderlin and this deal would not come as a surprise seeing how Schneiderlin publicly criticised his current side of blocking his move away from St. Marys

Morgan Schneiderlin has been valued around £10-15 Million by Southampton and Arsenal should not find this value hard to meet given their busy festive schedule with Aaron ramsey set to miss the most of those games.

Another advantage with Schneiderlin joining Arsenal will be that Arsene Wenger can play him in the Champions League as he is not cup tied like many other Transfer target for Arsenal. Schneiderlin seems the perfect signing for both the North London sides, but it seems Arsenal have moved ahead in the race and Tottenham are beginning to accept the defeat in a bid to sign Morgan Schneiderlin.
