Tottenham welcome the Premier League leaders Manchester City to the White Hart Lane in a crucial game week 7 of the Barclays Premier League. City boss Manuel Pellegrini will want his team to bounce back from the loss they suffered in the hands of West Ham last week and will be eyeing all three points from this game.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino saw his team pick up all three points from a tricky fixture against Crystal Palace last weekend and will hope that his team can carry the momentum into the game against City. The Manchester City vs Tottenham game will be played on Saturday the 26th of September at the White Hart Lane in London.
Here is the predicted lineup of Manchester City against Tottenham Hotspur:
Joe Hart will start against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday without a doubt. The English international is in the tantalizing form at the moment. Except for the two goals he conceded last week Hart has been brilliant under the bar for the Cityzens.
Bacary Sagna will be the right-back yet again in the absence of Pablo Zabaletta who is injured at the moment. Also club captain Vincent Kompany is out with a knock. He is doubtful in this game thus, we expect Nicolas Otamendi to start alongside Eliaquim Mangala. Aleksandar Kolarov will be the left-back.
The midfield is likely to remain same from what Pellegrini fielded last week. David Silva was out with an injury last week and the Spaniard is yet to recover. We have only made one change benching Jesus Navas with Samir Nasri. Fernandinho and Yaya Toure will be in the central midfield. Raheem Sterling on the left flank, Kevin De Buryne as central attacking midfielder and Samir Nasri on the right flank.
Sergio Aguero is fit to play and he will start against Tottenham Hotspur. Aguero was out with an injury against West Ham United, but he came back to the squad in the midweek game against Sunderland.
