Luis Suarez returned from injury as Uruguay beat England 2-1 to keep their hopes alive in the World Cup.

Suarez scored two goals to take England down as the Liverpool forward returned from a knee injury. Glen Johnson and Daniel Sturridge combined to set up Wayne Rooney‘s debut goal in the World Cup. Suarez once again proved why he is up there with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and his determination was stronger than ever to prove his critics wrong.

Piers Morgan thinks Suarez wanted it more than anyone in the England team.

Jagielka was to be blamed for the first goal, according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.

Suarez was as clinical as ever, scoring for both shots on target.

Tony Barrett of The Times pointed out Roy Hodgson‘s mistakes in a series of tweets.

Gary Lineker too praised Luis Suarez.
