Twitter Reacts As Arsenal Become League Leaders After 3-1 Win
Dec 10, 2016 at 11:44 PM
Arsenal have managed to clinch three points with a win against Stoke City and the result has seen them leapfrog their city rivals Chelsea to become the new league leaders. However, Chelsea will play West Brom tomorrow at Stamford Bridge as they have to manage a win to keep their hold on the top spot.
Arsenal were dealt a huge blow in the early stages as Granit Xhaka foul on Joe Allen has led to a penalty which Charlie Adam has scored to put the visitors in front. However, Theo Walcott has equalized just before half time to make things even going into the second half.
Mesut Ozil has headed the goal into the net at the beginning of the second half to put Arsenal ahead and substitute Alex Iwobi has managed to score the third goal to round off well deserved 3-1 victory for hosts.
The result has taken Arsenal ahead of Chelsea on the basis of more goals and could see them back to No. 2 position if Chelsea manage at least a point tomorrow when they meet West Brom.
This also meant Arsenal have not lost in any game for the last 14 Premier League games after their 4-3 loss to Liverpool on the opening day of the season. Let us look at how the Twitterati reacted to Arsenal’s thumping victory.

3 pieces of skill in that move: Sanchez's pass, Bellerin's cross and Walcott's finish. All excellent. #afcvscfc
