The draw has been made for this season’s Champions League semi-finals and it has given us two great games to savor. The 4 remaining teams in the competition have dominated the European football in recent seasons.

Since 2010, 15 out of the 24 CL semi-final places have been taken by the same three clubs (Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern). Juventus being the 4th team bring the unknown factor this season with them as none of the other teams were sure whether they will be happy to face Juventus or to avoid them.

Having said all of that, lets take a look at the Champions League semi-finals draws for this season:

Semi Final 1 – Barcelona vs Bayern Munich

Semi Final 2 – Juventus vs Real Madrid

What an enthrolling tie awaits us as Pep Guardiola, the man who took Barcelona to the very top of European Football few seasons ago will be back at Camp Nou with his new powerhouse Bayern Munich.

In the other tie, a famous rivalry will be re-ignited as Real Madrid battle Juventus to determine a place for the Champions League final in Berlin later this season.

First leg of the Champions League Semi-Finals will be played on May 5/6 and the return ties the following week on May 12/13.

Draw to determine the home team for the final will be made later next month. Final of the Champions League will be played on 6th June 2015 at Olympiastadion in Berlin which has a capacity of 77,000.
