La Liga side Valencia have confirmed that Benfica star Enzo Perez will join them in a 20 Million deal which will see the Argentine midfielder pen a long term deal. In recent weeks Enzo Perez has been a constant transfer target for Manchester United, but as things stand, Enzo Perez is all but sure to have signed for Valencia.
Enzo Perez was a key figure in Argentina’s World Cup campaign and since the World Cup, Perez has had many admirers. Benfica have clearly discussed Perez’s buy out clause of 23 Million but were not ready to trigger it when Manchester United came calling. It seems now that Benfica will have to settle for less and will have to let their prized asset leave for 20 Million.
Enzo Perez will join Valencia on 2nd January from Benfica, with Medical being the only formality left. Surely the Argentine International will not mess up the medical, or will he? Perez enjoyed a successful time with Benfica which lasted for over three years.
During his time at Benfica, Perez won 1 League title, 3 Domestic trophies and came very close to winning the Europa League by reaching the finals of the event twice. Enzo Perez snubbed a direct interest from Manchester United and has decided to join Valencia in a 20 Million deal. Perez will join the Spanish side later this week.
Enzo Perez will arrive at Valencia tomorrow for his proposed medical. Ahead of his move, Perez was speaking to InsideSpanishFootball.com and he was heard saying, “I’m very happy to come to Valencia. Tomorrow [Tuesday] will be a very long day.”
