BBC Radio has recently claimed that if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid his most likely destination will be Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portuguese superstar’s contract at Real Madrid runs out in 2018 and the European media have already started speculating about his next destination. Many had claimed that he might move back to his old club Manchester United, the club which made his the star he is now. Manchester United fans would have cherished the moment if Ronaldo travels back to Old Trafford.
But BBC Radio’s recent reports suggests that he might not move back to England. They further said that Manchester United is no more the same club which Ronaldo had fall in love with.
Some excerpts from the Radio interview revealed: “The Manchester United that Cristiano Ronaldo fell in love with has completely gone.
“Cristiano’s time of being in the elite three, four, five in the world is dwindling. He will need to be looking at winning things. Is that a guarantee at Manchester United? No.”
The BBC experts further said the style of football which Manchester United used to exhibit under Sir Alex Ferguson during Ronaldo’s stint is no more visible. It was the style which attracted Ronaldo. Also the Portuguese will not get his old foes like Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Garry Neville at the club.
At this point of his career, Ronaldo would like to win as many titles as possible, which looks more likely with PSG than Manchester United.
