Wenger Rejects Record Move To China This Month But Arsenal Might Have Just Found Their Next Gaffer

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal has found themselves in a mini-slump since the turn of the year as they have not been able to find any consistency in their game and have lost some ground at the top of the points table.

They are currently in the 4th place in the points table, 13 point off Chelsea at the top and the manager will hope that his side can find some form and finish in the top-4 come the end of the season.

The Gunners are also all but out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 after their result at the Allianz Arena, and this has seen the veteran manager take some stick for lack of improvement over the last few years.

This has seen his place at the club come under severe scrutiny with some wanting him to the leave the club at the end of the season.

It is understood that the Arsenal hierarchy has no intention of letting him leave the club this summer and have already offered him a two-year contract extension which Wenger is yet to sign.

The manager revealed that he would like to wait until the end of the season before deciding his future but there were some huge developments regarding this matter today.

According to reports from the Mirror, the Frenchman, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has received an offer from an unnamed CSL club to move to Asia this February.

It is revealed that the CSL club were set to offer Wenger £30m a year, double of what top earning manager Pep Guardiola is getting from Manchester City at the moment.

Wenger is reportedly set to continue in his role but whether it is in England is a question that is yet to be answered.

But that is not it. Another report from Italian news outfit Calciomercato has added a twist to this story.

According to them, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has told his friends that he will move to the Emirates at the end of the season.

It is revealed that the 51-year old let this news slip over dinner with his close friends and that it started to spread from there.

The Evening Standard, an English news outlet, were quick to claim that Arsenal has not yet decided on who their next manager will be if Wenger leaves and have assured the fans that Allegri is not yet signed for the club.

Having rejected a world record offer from China, Wenger will feel silly if he is replaced by Allegri in the summer but he will surely be looking for jobs again before the start of the new season.

Do you think Wenger will be replaced by Allegri?
