Arsene Wenger’s rivalry with Chelsea manager Jose has intensified as the Arsenal boss has questioned the unity among the Chelsea members. Jose Mourinho had a tiff with team physio and the team doctor Eva Carneiro after the lady doctor had rushed on to the field to treat Eden Hazard in the game against Swansea City. Jose Mourinho post match had said that the injury was not that serious and it was because of the doctor that the team was reduced to 9 men on the pitch.

The Mourinho Carneiro row continued for almost week and it was reported that Eva might sue the Portuguese manager. Sky Sports last night claimed that Mourinho was even abusive over the team doctor.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was today asked by the media about the omgoing controvers at Chelsea to which he opined: “Trust and unity inside a club makes a strength. That story at Chelsea, I have not followed that. I do not have great interest in what’s going on.

“Secondly the rules are clear, when the ref give indication for the medics to come on they can come on. After that, in this situation, I don’t know.

“But the rules are quite clear. The referee makes the decision.”

Wenger stressed on the fact that if the referee calls for the medical staff the staff have to attend an injured player. If rules are there a Club has to follow that irrespective of the situation.

Now Wenger’s comment will surely trigger yet another bust up between the two rival managers as Jose Mourinho will surely hit back at the Frenchman.

It will be interesting to see how Mourinho responds to Wenger’s jibe.
