The speculations never seem to end about the managerial job at the Emirates and now there have recent claims suggesting that former Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp could now possibly be the favourite with the bookies to take over from Arsene Wenger. It is believed that the French manager’s job at the north London club is now under serious threat after quite a few poor results in the month of February, which has seen them once again fade away from the title race.

It seems now that the Premier League giants could ask Wenger, their most successful manager to possibly leave the club in the near future. With a 4-0 emphatic over Hull City in the FA Cup, the Gunners are keen on retaining the cup, though it seems that they will once again not be challenging for other big titles.

Further, Sky Bet have reportedly valued the Arsenal hero Bergkamp as the favourite, at present to replace his former manager. Currently the Ajax’s assistant manager is priced at 10/1 to replace Wenger as the next permanent Arsenal boss.

He has beaten various big names like Roberto Martinez, Ronald Koeman and Quique Sanchez Flores, along with Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone (all 14/1) and former team-mates Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira, who are both placed at 16/1. Here is the whole list of the main contenders:

10/1 – Dennis Bergkamp
14/1 – Roberto Martinez
14/1 – Diego Simeone
14/1 – Ronald Koeman
14/1 – Quique Sanchez Flores
16/1 – Thierry Henry
16/1 – Manuel Pellegrini
16/1 – Paul Clement
16/1 – Dragan Stojkovic
16/1 – Patrick Vieira
20/1 – Brendan Rodgers
20/1 – Jose Mourinho
