Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pondering over a move to the Premier League when his contract at Paris Saint-Germain ends come summer, and the striker is reported to want a switch to Arsenal.
Neil Moxley of reliable Sunday People said the Swedish starlet “wants to work” with Arsene Wenger, and Wenger also is “interested” in taking the player to Emirates.
Moxley has said Zlatan has ‘’contact with a number of our leading clubs”, with Arsenal being his preferred destination.
Somedays ago, on the link with Premier League Zlatan said: ‘’ I think it is too late to come to England. I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards. I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level, I just want to join it and do my thing. I do not know where I will finish my career let us wait and see.’’
The Spanish outlet Fichajes has reported that Manchester United and several MLS clubs will rival Arsenal for their pursuit of Ibrahimovic as they want Ibra too.
Mirror has reported that Zlatan “has made it clear he wants to work with Arsene Wenger … and the Frenchman is interested.”
The 34-year-old has still got enough mojo in him as he has provided the highest number of assists (5) in Ligue 1 this season in his 13 appearances.
After beating Denmark, Zlatan said: “They wanted me to retire, I just sent their whole nation into retirement”.
Sunday Mirror has written ‘’ PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 34, is interested in moving to the Premier League, with Arsenal his club of choice.’’
Arsenal lost 2-1 to West Brom and apart from Olivier Giroud, they don’t have any proper strikers at the injury-prone side. Surely a striker of Zlatan’s class will do a world of good to them.
