It turned out be an historic day for India in the Asian Games as the men’s Hockey team clinched Gold in Asian Games since 1982 and within minutes after that, Indian quartet of Priyanka Pawar, Tintu Lukka, Mandeep Kaur and MR Poovamma won Gold in women’s 4*400m relay. Apart from these, India too won two more Bronze medals in Boxing. With these, India has now won 9 Golds, 9 Silvers and 37 Bronze medals and are in ninth position in the medal table.
