After so many troubles to get visas to participate in ISSF World Cup at Fort Benning, USA, Indian team has opened the account with Silver. Pistol shooter Heena Sidhu finished with a silver in 10m air pistol event in the first leg of the ISSF World Cup at Fort Benning, USA.

Heena fell three points behind 28-year old Bulgarian shooter Antoaneta Boneva, an Olympic finalist of London 2012. Boneva shooted for 203.6 and grabbed the gold as Heena shot for 200.8 points and earned silver. Third position was grabbed by Serbia’s Zorana Arunovic with 180.9 points. While an another aspiring shooter of India, 16 year old Malaika Goel shot for 119.4 points with a sixth position.

In previously held 10m air rifle men event Russia’s Nazar Luginets earned gold by scoring 209.4 while no Indian shooter can make up to the top eight seeds including Olympic medallist Gagan Narang, Ashok ChavankePT Raghunath and Chain Singh.
