In the latest progress in Narsingh’s case, it is heard that Haryana police is still unable to trace out the junior wrestler who spiked the Naringh’s food and energy drinks in the wrestling academy located in Sonepat, Haryana. Police are still looking for the culprit and have already registered a FIR against the wrestler under section Sections 328 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code at the Rai police station in Sonipat.
The junior wrestler was, however, successful in his aim as Narsingh was debarred of competing in the match just hours before the match was to take place. This was a big setback for India and Narsingh as we lost an opportunity to participate in Olympics in that category.
The Haryana police are trying hard to catch the culprit as soon as possible and they are positive of catching the man in a day or two
“We have done five raids so far. One raid was conducted by a police party headed by the SHO of Rai. The rest were conducted by me. We raided the junior wrestler’s Delhi residence and other possible places where he could hide. But we still have no clue about his whereabouts,”
“He isn’t carrying a mobile phone and that’s why we are unable to track his location,” Indivar Kumar, the in-charge of Sonipat crime investigation agency quoted to TOI.
