New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS) Rio Olympics gold medallist Erica Wiebe, who competes for Canada, is considering Pro Wrestling League (PWL) Season 2 as the stepping stone towards getting action roles in Bollywood.

Recently scouted by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Wiebe who won in the 75 kilogram category, is excited to participate in the second season of PWL, which will begin from January 2, 2017.

“I am a freestyle wrestler and I love to wrestle. Delighted to explore if anything interesting comes my way, more so from Bollywood, as many combat movies are made in India,” Wiebe said in a statement.

Bollywood films enjoy popularity in Canada. Wiebe said she would like to work in Bollywood since she knows that there is a large Indian community in Canada.
