Raynard van Tonder is a South African cricketer. On 6 October 2016, van Tonder made his first-class debut for Free State in the 2016–17 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup. 3 days later, he made his List A debut for Free State in the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 9 October 2016. He made his Twenty20 debut for Free State in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup on 8 September 2017.

In December 2017, he was named as the captain of South Africa’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He scored 143 against in South Africa’s first game of the tournament against Kenya
