A bomb squad is probing on the bomb blast near the finishing line of the men’s cycling road race.
Press men could hear a loud noise on the press box and felt the tremor after the blast as cyclists had about 70 kilometers to go Saturday.
A half dozen military police were cordoning off the area. No one was immediately evacuated, and it did not appear that anyone was injured. The race was continuing and had not been rerouted.

IOC president Thomas Bach, a man who has had plenty on his plate of late with the Russian doping scandal, gave a speech today at the opening ceremony.
“We are living in a world of crisis, mistrust and uncertainty,” Bach said.
“Here is our answer….athletes living peacefully in one Olympic village, sharing their meals and their emotions.
“In this Olympic world there is one universal law for everybody, in this Olympic world we are all equal.
“In this Olympic world we see the values of our combined humanity are stronger than the forces that want to divide us.
“So I call upon you the Olympic athletes, respect yourself, respect each other, respect the Olympic values which make the Olympic Games unique for you and the entire world.”
Bach also paid homage to the refugee athletes.
