“I am a legend, bask in my glory,” Bolt said after his 200m gold in London and never in 120 years of Olympic history has there been someone who has dominated the game like him.

And it’s safe to say that the star Jamaican sprinter has immortalised his legendary status after he helped his country win gold in the 4x100m relay beating out Japan and a United States team that was later disqualified due to a lane violation. With his third gold medal of these Olympic Games, Bolt was able to get the legendary triple-triple.

As expected Twitterati went berserk after Bolt’s historic achievement. Here are some of the tweets:

An avid sports lover, i always wanted to pursue a career in football. But just like the millions out there i did not put in the hard work needed to achieve my dream and now i have become a fan instead of the player. Anyway, writing for sports has kept me closer to this field. One more thing, yours sincerely is a die-hard Liverpool fan. You will never walk alone.
