Zhuhai (China), Nov 6 (IANS) Spanish Carla Suarez did not make it to the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Elite Trophy semi-finals after being eliminated by Ukrainian Elina Svitolina here on Friday.

 

World No.10 Svitolina was able to defeat world No.12 Suarez 6-7 (4), 6- 1, 6-3, in a match that took two hours and 38 minutes, reports Efe. In the semi-finals, the Ukrainian will face Czech Karolina Pliskova, who defeated Italian Sara Errani 6-0, 6-3.
