Paris, Nov 6 (IANS) World No.1 Novak Djokovic kept alive his chances of clinching a third straight Paris Masters tennis title knocking out No. 14 seed Gilles Simon 6-3, 7-5. Top seed Djokovic extended his winning streak to 19 matches on Friday to book a place in the quarter-finals. He will next face Tomas Berdych who reached the quarter-finals with a 6-3 6-4 victory over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, also on Friday.

Djokovic first served for the match at 5-4, only to be broken for a fifth time but regained his composure to win the next two games.
