Both of them share 7 grand slams and 20 titles on average with Roger Federer winning 17 grand slams and has a career slam whereas career slam has eluded Novak Djokovic thus far and has years by his side to complete a career slam.

The fan base, popularity and the way they pull crowd makes this rivalry unique which others didn’t manage to do like these pair did. However, this rivalry was a one sided affair and wasn’t competitive as one would expect with Nadal completely dominating the Swiss. They have met 33 times in their career and Nadal has managed to get the better of Swiss for 23 times whereas the Swiss managed to win only 10 times. However, in the last few years Djokovic has the best head to head record against the Spaniard. The rivalry between these two has been always close and to predict the winner of this clash would be the toughest task for any Tennis fan. Such was the intensity in their rivalry. Australian Open 2012 and French Open 2013 are the two epic clashes these two has featured in. The player who has been on their top on their given day emerge victorious and there is no room for complete domination between these two which makes this rivalry exciting compared to other rivalries.
