Women’s tennis is not highly demanding in terms of physical strength, yet there are some athletes who can notch up some big serves in an effective manner. Women’s tennis hasn’t produced many big servers in the past history but there are some sensations in the open era who has notched up some really big serves.

Venus Williams, the 7 time grand slam champion is considered as one of the biggest servers on the tour which has immense power and accuracy to it which gives lots of troubles to the opposition. Venus had the fastest serve of 129 mph which she hit in the US Open 2007 until Sabine Lisicki topped it. However, Venus Williams is highly reliant on her first serve because her second serve is her biggest liability.

Sabine Lisicki, the German has recently notched up the biggest serve in Women’s tennis history in a WTA tour match by hitting 131 mph serve. Lisicki’s major weapon is her first serve which is almost impossible to return if it lands in the right spot. However, she tumble under pressure to land the first serve which has been her undoing so far.

Serena Williams, has the best serve in the Women’s tennis as she consistently clocks up to 100 mph with great accuracy and power. Serena’s serve is her biggest weapon along with her forehand. Serena Williams has notched up 348 aces in her 37 matches in the year 2015 which is absolutely remarkable. Serena cracked up 128.6 mph serve at Australian Open 2013 which is her fastest serve till date. The amazing thing about the World no 1 is she manages to make the first serve when she is under immense pressure and probably makes it 9 out of 10 times which makes her as the best server in women’s tennis.
