This season, the Barclays Premier League has been closely contested with every game almost impossible to call. Top clubs have failed to live up to their expectations while lesser known clubs have managed to find a level of consistency to envy.

Even as the season has been un-predictable, we have bought to you the predictions of every game, every week in this season. To continue the legacy, here are the predictions for the Round of 32 of the Barclays Premier League:

  1. Aston Villa vs Chelsea:

Villa have not managed to win a game in a long time while Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 12 league games. On paper there is only one winner of this battle as Hiddink is expected to keep his recent record intact.

Our Prediction: Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea

  1. West Ham United vs Crystal Palace:

Pardew’s Palace have found it hard to find positive results in recent times and will once again be under pressure against a Hammers side that has been consistent from the start of the season.

Our Prediction: West Ham United 2-0 Crystal Palace

  1. AFC Bournemouth vs Manchester City:

City’s recent run of results will surely give the Cherries some hope of a result from this game but Pellegrini will know the importance of getting all three points from this game and we expected the Etihad outfit to do the same on the night.

Our Prediction: AFC Bournemouth 1-2 Manchester City

  1. Norwich City vs Newcastle United:

These bottom of the table battles are really hard to call but Norwich City will have a slight advantage going in the game as the home team. However, with both teams too afraid to loose, a stalemate is not a surprising result from this game.

Our Prediction: Norwich City 0-0 Newcastle United.

  1. Stoke City vs Swansea City:

The Irish outfit has already saved itself from relegation this season and will face the Potters who are looking for a European spot this season. The home side will be favorites on paper going into this grueling battle.

Our Prediction: Stoke City 3-1 Swansea City

  1. Arsenal vs Watford:

The Gunners need all three points from this game to keep their title hopes alive but Watford City have proven to be hard to beat and this game seems to be the one that pushes the Gunners out of the title race.

Our Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Watford

  1. Sunderland vs West Bromwich Albion:

The Black Cats need all three points from this game to steer to safety but they will find it hard against Tony Pulis’ WBA side who have been solid in recent times and have proven hard to beat.

Our Prediction: Sunderland 1-1 West Bromwich Albion.

  1. Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur:

Jurgen Klopp’s side welcome the 2nd placed Tottenham side this weekend in a sizzling encounter at Anfield. Both teams are evenly matched and the Reds will go into the game as favorites playing at home.

Our Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur.

  1. Leicester City vs Southampton:

The Foxes face a daunting game against the Saints who are in good form in recent games. It will be important for the home side to start the game well, else, Koeman’s side can dash the hopes of the Leicester City fans who are so close to seeing their dream come true.

Our Prediction: Leicester City 1-1 Southampton

  1. Manchester United vs Everton:

One of the many crunch games this weekend, Manchester welcome Everton to Old Trafford and will hope that they can cover some ground on their way to a top-4 finish this season. However, Everton have been in good form this season and may upset the Red Devils on the night.

Our Prediction: Manchester United 0-2 Everton.
