Andy Flower – Andy Flower is one of the best batsmen that the country has produced. In a career spanning 213 ODI’s he scored 6786 at an average of 35.34. It included 55 half centuries and 4 centuries. It can be said that the Indian team was his favorite opposition as in 35 innings against Indian team he scored 1298 runs at an average of 40.56. He has scored 11 half centuries against India, most by any Zimbabwe player against India. He showed his colors from the first game against India itself as in the first encounter against Indian bowlers he scored 43* followed by 62. His fighting innings of 145 in Colombo was one of the best innings of his career. In short, he was one of the batsmen who enjoyed much a success against the Indian team.

Alistair Campbell – The left-handed batsmen from Zimbabwe made his test debut against India, but he was mainly successful in ODI’s especially against Indian team. In 37 innings against India, he smashed 1227 runs, which included 10 half centuries and 1 century. Though he did not have a great start against Indian team, but slowly and steadily he gained momentum and was quite successful against the Indian team. Though his miraculous innings of 105 as an opener came in a losing cause, but it was one of the bravest innings of his career. In short, it can be said that Indian bowlers were the best prey for him.

Grant flower- The fifth highest run scorer in India vs Zimbabwe contests till now and the younger brother of Andy flower, Grant too had enjoyed much success against the Indian team. In 38 innings against the Indian team, he plundered 1165 runs at an average of 31.48. He has also scored 5 half centuries and a century against the Indian team. Along with the bat, he also contributed with the ball as he scalped 20 wickets against the Indian team. He is one of the few players who have shown all round skills in the clashes between the two teams. Surely he was one of the biggest asset for his team.

Elton Chigumbura – One of the experienced member of Zimbabwe team, Elton Chigumbura has always sailed the team’s boat in difficult situations especially against Indian team. In 13 matches played against the Indian team, the all-rounder has scored 363 runs in total at an average of 45.37. He also has one century and one half century against the Indian team alongside his name. Though he has failed in the series till now, but he has a good record against Indian team and is one of the best batsmen of Zimbabwe.

Sean Ervine- Sean had a short-lived international career as he could only manage 42 international games, but he played exceptionally well against the Indian team. In 5 innings played against India, he scored 217 runs at a healthy average of 54.25. His strike against India is 105.33. He has also scored a century against the Indian team. Though Ervine had a short lived international career, but his heroics against the Indian team can never be forgotten as the batsman in his young days scored oodles on runs especially against the Indian team.
