The world of football is slowly getting softer and softer, especially with the introduction of technology into the sport.

However, time and again, we come across some players who are ready to take us back to the old style of football with crunching tackles and bodies flying all around.

There are very few players who are capable of playing such a game on a regular basis at the moment in Europe so one player who will always be remembered for his game is AC Milan beast Paolo Maldini.

One of the very few players to have played more than 1000 games in club football, Maldini has 902 club games, 126 Italy caps, 26 trophies and 25 seasons and stands as one of the best defenders to have ever played the game.
