Since this is the final event before WrestleMania we are expecting to see some major twists at this event. So what are those twists could be? Let us discuss;

  1. Chris Jericho returns to cost Owens the title – Possibly the most predictable one but we still consider this as a twist since Jericho is not being mentioned by Owens much and he has not shown up since the ‘festival of friendship’ incident. Surely Owens will be facing Jericho at WrestleMania and that it does not look like they would fight for the Universal title. So we think Jericho will cost him the championship.
  2. Brock Lesnar attacks Goldberg after the match – As we are predicting Goldberg will win the title so Brock cannot screw him, instead he would attack him after the match ends and taunts with the Universal title. Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is the first official card that made the card of WrestleMania and it has to look a little more exciting than it looks right now. Goldberg hasn’t been beaten down by Lesnar so far, so Fastlane might just be the time.
  3. Undertaker interferes during Roman ReignsBraun Strowman match – Another rumoured match for WrestleMania is Roman Reigns vs. the Undertaker. So how would it get built up? As Roman eliminated Undertaker from the Royal Rumble match, the dead man might seek for revenge and he might announce it on this event by attacking Roman which would lead to a possible WrestleMania feud build-up.
  4. Sasha Banks turns heel – Possibly the most unlikely twist prediction but it has a possibility. We think they are slowly building up Sasha Banks – Bayley feud for future. But what if they are making a feud between the two women for WrestleMania? Fastlane would be the best stage for starting the feud officially. And Bayley’s gimmick does not suit a heel persona, so it has to be Sasha. Sasha might turn heel and costs Bayley the title. Maybe this possible feud is the reason why they ruined Bayley’s dramatic WrestleMania win.
  5. Finn Balor returns – Dave Meltzer recently said that Finn Balor is ready to come back in action and he could return anytime. So Fastlane might just be the stage. But against whom would Balor return? Let us make an unlikely prediction; Samoa Joe. Yes, an ignition of Samoa Joe and Finn Balor’s NXT feud would be awesome to see!
