For quite a few years when Wrestlemania comes around rumors fly around regarding the dream match between Undertaker and John Cena. It has been teased for the last couple of Wrestlemanias but never came to fruition.
The latest rumors from wrestlingnews.com suggest that Undertaker’s appearance at Summerslam can’t be nixed out totally and he may end up facing none other than John Cena. Apparently, it is none other than the boss, Vince McMahon himself wants Undertaker to pre-pone the dream match from Wrestlemania learning a first-hand experience from the past few years.
The match was supposed to take place at Wrestlemania 31 but Taker ultimately faced Bray Wyatt. This year it was nearly concrete that the Cenation leader would face the Deadman at WM32 but that got canceled too due Cena’s sudden injury. So, with the previous reports suggesting that Vince McMahon wants Taker to appear at Summerslam, the rumor regarding the match can’t be ruled out.
As per the previous reports, a tiff was going on between the Undertaker and Mr. McMahon and it was gradually increasing rather than getting over. Undertaker was not too happy when the chairman asked him to be on the losing side against his son. Ever since he had his match against Shane McMahon at this year’s Wrestlemania, a number of rumors were surfaced onto the internet which suggested the legend was offended with it. Undertaker has informed backstage that the Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania 32 was going to be his last at the event.
Things get worse these days when Vince wanted to reach to the Undertaker to make an appearance with him at Summerslam but did not get any response. The close ones have aware of the fact that Undertaker was not happy when he was asked to lose against Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania. Though he ended up winning the spectacular bout, Shane did steal the spotlight with the jump off the top of the cell.
