It has been a very controversial topic whether Daniel Bryan is overrated or not. Does Daniel Bryan deserve all the spotlight he is having? Whatever Triple H and Stephanie McMahon about him onscreen, are those things true? Let us compare the mic and wrestling ability of Daniel Bryan with some of the main eventers and mid carders of the current roster;

Well, whatever I wrote is based on my opinion. I know not everyone would agree with me in every mentioned section but I am quite sure you will agree with me in most of them. So clearly, Daniel Bryan is not the best wrestler in the roster. So what is the reason Daniel Bryan so famous? Why fans only want to see Daniel Bryan on the spotlights? Let us discuss;

Whatever Daniel Bryan achieved today is because of the ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ chants. There are a lot of superstars like him, he is definitely a superb wrestler but there are a lot of wrestler like him who could fit his position if that particular individual was given the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ chants.

Let us take the example of Dolph Ziggler. If Ziggler was given those chants, could he be as successful as Daniel Bryan? Maybe not, because Bryan’s mic skill is better than Ziggler. But how about Sheamus? Sheamus is doing quite well on the mic these days, he is even a better wrestler than Bryan is. You can say that Sheamus’ physic would not match this particular gimmick. But I would say it definitely would. You see, we are actually used to see Bryan in this particular gimmick. If we would have seen Sheamus in this gimmick from the beginning, then there would have no problem. Storylines would have been different in those situations.

So how the ‘yes’ chant was actually invented? And who actually invented it? We will cover a story on that topic soon.
