Last week on Monday Night Raw, Daniel Bryan announced that he suffered from a neck injury and on Thursday, he is scheduled to go through a neck surgery. He indicated towards something serious when he said that he did not know when he would be able to return, but he confirm that he would definitely return.
Later, on the same night, Stephanie McMahon called the WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan to share her appreciation. But we saw Kane dragging down Daniel Bryan towards the arena and leaving him unconscious on the entrance stage. The medical stuffs came out to look after him and took him out of the arena in an ambulance.
Fans might think that WWE would now be going to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight championship as Daniel Bryan is injured. And we might see a new champion crowned.
Relax, no such thing is going to happen because the story of this neck injury of Daniel Bryan is just a part of the storyline and there is nothing to be scared of. However, Daniel Bryan has picked up a minor neck injury and he seriously had to go through a neck surgery on Thursday but it is nothing serious, he would be able to wrestle Kane by the next pay per view event Payback.
So what are current plans for this storyline between Daniel Bryan and Kane? Our sources from the United States of America claim that Daniel Bryan will defend his championship against Kane in a Buried Alive match at Payback.
The last time we saw a Buried Alive match was almost four years ago in which the World Heavyweight champion of that time Kane defended his championship against his half brother The Undertaker and Kane defeated Undertaker to retain the World Heavyweight championship.
Questions were raised when Kane was named as the no 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at Extreme Rules. But after everybody saw Kane’s performance at Extreme Rules, his critics were kept quiet. He proved his worth at the event and he also proved how much he deserved all the spotlights.
The feud between Daniel Bryan and Kane is not going last long as it looks like. Payback might be the last match between the two to end this feud. And there are rumors that Batista might go on for the championship next. Rumors also suggest that Brock Lesnar will face Daniel Bryan for the championship at SummerSlam.
Whatever the future plans are, one thing we are quite sure about is, Kane would not be given a title run, things are quite predictable in this feud. Still, Kane earned the respect of all after Extreme Rules. We expect to see another great match between Daniel Bryan and Kane at Payback.
