“Laying the Smackdown” on the biggest stage of them all is his motto and since his blockbuster announcement to return at Wrestlemania it was not quite clear who he is about to face. Apparently, there is some clarity regarding The Rock and his Wrestlemania opponent status. The People’s champion declared the big announcement last year’s December to be present at the AT&T stadium at the grandest stage.
The latest news that the main event will feature either Triple H vs. Roman Reigns or The Rock will lock up against Triple H. The scenario is to give Reigns more punishment as we are seeing these days in RAW and to establish the “one versus all” motto firmly.
Incidentally, Triple H will come seek revenge and deliver a brutal punishment to the Big Dog which will make the way clear for The Rock to show up once again as a helping hand for his family. The previous help was done at last year’s Royal Rumble event. Now, the further happenings will focus some light on the main event i.e. who (The Rock or Roman Reigns) will finally step into the ring with the Game, at the show of immortals?
Earlier reports were that The Rock will not wrestle in the event in the biggest event, according to DailyWrestlingNews. This comes in the light of the fact that an insurance company refused to cover him for a movie that he is shooting during that time if he chose to wrestle at the grandest stage of them all.
This was not unfamiliar news as the Rock went on public saying that he won’t wrestle at Wrestlemania 32 but would make an appearance there. But The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed this as being accurate, with the insurance company stance remaining the same.
