John Cena, the franchise and the superhuman he is, is not intended to back down from his injury and preparing for his early return to the ring in the injury season to save WWE from crisis once again. Cena announced on his Twitter handle that his goal for this week was to hit the gym and he intends not to give up so easily with the hashtag #nevergiveup.

Cena is almost out of action since last month’s Hell in a Cell except his nearly 10 days show up in WWE at the start of 2016. He returned only to get shelved once again due to his torn rotator cuff in his shoulder. He went under the knife on the 7th of last month to correct the same in Birmingham, Alabama. WWE.com has published his surgery pictures and said it was delicate enough to keep the star out for a whole month, with the wrestler advised not to tax his shoulder with extra weight as a precaution.
Cena’s surgeon Dr. Jeffery Dugas spoke to WWE.com and quoted “He had a complete tear of a small portion of the rear rotator cuff tendon, the infraspinatus — toward the top-back of his shoulder — which I repaired. Also, there was a large piece of loose tissue in his shoulder that needed to be removed.”

With this in mind that Cena has a knack of recovering from injury much earlier than expected, we can now expect him to return even before than Wrestlemania. The franchise has never missed the grandest stage since his debut in 2002 and hopefully he will not miss this year too.
