The show started as Dean Ambrose came out to the arena. The commentator reminded that Dean Ambrose won a Beat the Clock challenge last week on Monday Night Raw where he defeated Alberto Del Rio and Seth Rollins lost to Heath Slater. It was shown that Dean Ambrose was there in the ring side during Seth Rollins’ match against Heath Slater and he continuously distracted him. Heath Slater at the end picked up the sudden pin fall victory which leaded a victory in the beat the challenge to Dean.

Dean asked whether that was that people were going to get at Summerslam. Seth guaranteed that Summerslam would be his end and the world would dare to watch it, live on the WWE Network for only $9.99. Dean said that the fans would pay $9.99 to see Seth getting kicked out of the arena again. Dean said not this time. This time they were to get a lot more. This time, if Seth tried to escape, he would smash himself with bodies, those bodies would make sure that they were going to tear each other up and he promised he would. If Seth was an old school like him, he could call this match a Lumber Jack match.

Match 1 – Big Show and Mark Henry defeated Rybaxel (Ryback and Curtis Axel). Big Show pinned Curtis Axel with the Choke Slam.

Backstage Renee Young interviewed Randy Orton. Renee said that Orton finally his opportunity to face Roman Reigns one on one at Summerslam. However, he had been scheduled to face Dean Ambrose one on one on that night as Seth Rollins choose him as the opponent of Dean Ambrose for the night. Randy Orton said that Dean Ambrose was unstable but Randy Orton was more controllable. He did not even know what he was going to do once he was going to put his hands on Dean Ambrose that night in that ring. One thing was for sure according to Randy Orton was Dean Ambrose was going to get the same beating that Roman Reigns received from him two weeks ago. By this match, he would prove to the world who actually was the sadistic superstar of WWE, and that was him, Randy Orton.

Match 4 – Paige defeated Natalya by submission. Good match, Paige made Natalya submit with her submission maneuver PTO (Paige Tap Out).

Match 5 – Rusev defeated Big E by submission. Rusev made Big E submit with his submission maneuver The Accolade.

Backstage Chris Jericho was interviewed where he was asked about his feeling as Luke Harper and Eric Rowan would be banned from the ring side on his match against Bray Wyatt at Summerslam. Jericho said that Eric Rowan and Luke Harper night be banned from the ring side but the source of the decease remained still. Bray Wyatt was keeping spread the decease on the entire WWE universe and it was poisonous. He knew the taste of the poison, the taste of Sister Abigail’s kiss but there was an antidote. The antidote which was known as Y2J and at Summerslam he was going to put an end of the Wyatt. If he had the whole world in his hand, he has got the whole WWE universe in his hand. If Bray Wyatt wanted to be crazy at Summerslam, he wanted them to get crazy.

Mark Henry’s return of last week on Monday Night Raw was shown where he faced Damien Sandow in his first match after return. Mark Henry defeated Damien Sandow quite easily and he pinned Sandow with the World’s Strongest Slam.

A video promo of the storyline of Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella at Summerslam was shown.
