What Transpired After WWE Smackdown Went-Off The Air: June 27th, 2017

Smackdown Live witnessed yet another jam packed edition with the second Money in the Bank Ladder match on the main event. The women performers of the blue brand tore apart each other in a gruelling contest. In the end, it was Carmella, once again who claimed the most opportunistic briefcase for the second time. She celebrated to close this week’s edition.

However, there were plenty in store following the show. WWE has already hyped up the return of John Cena on the main show of Smackdown Live with a video footage. Once the show was over, the franchise player posted a tweet to thank his fans.

The videos were posted from Hard Nocks South in Tampa in which he clarified that it will mark his 15 years of Smackdown debut when he returns on this 4th of July. With the post, it’s quite clear that he can’t wait to be back, home.
The fans in attendance at the Valley View Center in San Diego, California were treated to a mega match once the camera stopped rolling. WWE arranged a six man tag team action for them following the main show.

It featured Randy Orton, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura teaming up against WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, United States Champion, Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler. The contest turned out to be quite a back and forth one before the babyface team picked up the win. They celebrated their victory to close the show and send the crowd home on a happy note.

One of the creative heads from Smackdown Live, Road Dogg congratulated Carmella for earning the second straight Money in the Bank briefcase win. On the other hand, Lana was seen on the Smackdown Fallout show who was devastated following the loss she suffered at the hands of Naomi.

On the Talking Smack show, Carmella appeared to brag about her briefcase win. She gave all the accusations back to the Smackdown GM, Daniel Bryan on the show. Kevin Owens and The Usos were the other guests on the show who made comments from their next week’s schedule.
