This is not a joke, many reliable sources claim that 2K video games are planning to release the next video game of WWE, WWE 2K15 on PC. Fans worldwide expressed their excitement with this possibility and they are waiting for the release of the game.

2K games recently launched the latest video game of WWE, WWE 2K14 which available only on Play station 3 and X Box 360 platforms. This is the first WWE video game released by 2K games since the bankruptcy of THQ, who had the copyright of WWE video game series since the year 2000. On January 22, 2013, THQ was defunct and along with the WWE series, they were forced to sell their other popular video games series along with the WWE series such as The Saints Row, Darksiders, Company of Heroes, Homefront, Warhammer 40,000, Red Faction, MX vs. ATV etc. THQ never released any WWE game on the platform of PC since the release of WWE Raw on 2001, which was the only WWE game available on PC released by THQ. Before that, a few WWE games were released by Acclaim Entertainment which were, WWF WrestleMania : The Arcade Game and WWF In Your House (this game was released for MS DOS). The only WWE video game released by THQ, WWE Raw can never be considered as a complete wrestling game since it does not have enough features like the Season Mode or General Manager mode.

It does not have any special match types either. So it would be a big thing for the PC gamers to experience the real world of professional wrestling video game for the first time. 2K sports releases their other sports game NBA 2K series on PC, and a strong rumor has been spread all over the internet that the next part WWE 2K video game series would be available on PC for the first time in last fourteen years. 2K sports did a decent job in making their first WWE video game with receiving mostly positive from all the video game reviewers. IGN gave the game an 8.7 out of 10 and said “It still lacks the brains to deliver competent AI and commentators, but WWE 2K14 has more than enough brawn to make up for it. 30 Years of Wrestlemania provides the strongest campaign backbone the series has had in a long time, the in-ring action is faster and more fluid than it’s been in years, and thanks to WWE 2K14′s continually expanding creation suite, we’re swimming in more options than we ever knew we wanted. It is indeed “time to play the game.” Gamespot rated the game a 6 out of 10, saying that the game was clunky, “It’s a shame the wrestling isn’t up to par in WWE 2K14 because the elements surrounding it are so interesting…For anyone who grew up loving professional wrestling, be prepared to be swept away in a tide of nostalgia. If only the core action could have been as compelling.” It would be really great to have WWE games on PC.
