After it was reported that WWE was planning the Bella Twins to have their own talk show, WWE has now officially announced that they are indeed going to have their own TV series named Total Bellas. Now that Total Divas season five will see an end on this week’s Wednesday, the fans of the reality TV series have got another reason to cheer them up as they will get to witness their favorite Bella Twins life, up close and personally.
The series will focus on the daily lives of the Bella Twins i.e. Nikki Bella and Brie Bella, as of now and continue to do it. In the first season, the series will follow Nikki Bella’s road to recovery following her devastating neck surgery which cost her so much in the ring. It will also deal with Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan’s life after WWE.
Brie and Daniel both are now retired from the ring and with Nikki Bella’s in-ring days now being numbered with the career-threatening injury, the show will keep the fans up-to-date with the Bella Twins’ news, exclusively. It will also feature Nikki’s boyfriend John Cena, her mother Kathy, John Laurinaitis and his brother Jeje.
In addition, WWE has also announced the return of the Total Divas’ sixth season. The regular cast members like The Bella Twins, Eva Marie, Natalya, Paige will be there whereas the additional star-cast will see Lana, Renee Young, and Maryse.
During last night’s Raw WWE has also confirmed the rematch between Natalya and Charlotte will be held at WWE Payback and it will be for the WWE Women’s championship. During a backstage interview, it was revealed. With their previous encounters, which saw Ric Flair providing the distraction to help Charlotte retain the title, it will be now Bret Hart who will join Natalya to even things off for her. Predictably, it will be a family affair i.e. the Flair legacy vs. the Hart legacy. WWE Payback will take place on May 1st, 2016 on WWE Network.
