WWE: Jason Jordan has undergone successful neck surgery

The social media tried hard to find the real reason of Jason Jordan being out of action for quite sometimes. According to the recent reports, this man has been dealing with an injury since early 2018 which did not allow him to compete in in-ring competitions.
Apparently, this was the only reason why the team of Rollins and Jordan lost the tag team championships, as well, at the Royal Rumble PPV.
However, the only thing that kept us fooling was that WWE never kept him off the TV. He has been showing on WWE Raw and PPV nights on a consecutive basis which is why there were doubts about the injury.
Even on this past edition of the show, he was scheduled to compete in the tag team championship match.
However, that did not happen as the doctors did not medically clear him to compete in a match.
Although this was showed in a storyline perspective, we did get hints of a major injury that barred Kurt Angle’s son.
Around all of this, WWE finally came up with the official statement that Jason Jordan is dealing with a concussion, indeed.
A neck problem is bothering him for sometimes. To overcome the problems a minor neck surgery was performed that would keep him out of action.
The time span of him getting healed was not detected, till date.
Check out the updates from the official website of the WWE:
“He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures,” WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon said.
“It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal. The procedure Jordan underwent is called a minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy. It is not known just how long Jordan will be out of action.”
The updates also did not specify whether the surgery was done weeks ago or in recent times that might help us to assume the situation, better.
Ever since his debut on Monday Night Raw, the former tag champ received a push as a singles competitor.
Although he is yet to win a singles title, WWE did crown him with the Raw tag titles alongside Rollins. If this injury continues then it is likely that his push might come to an end.
