WWE: Kelly Kelly Is The Reason Why Emmalina Angle Was Scrapped

After months of waiting, Emmalina debuted on Raw, last week. As promised by the WWE, the audience expected to witness a spectacular debut of her but was disappointed to hear that she will be going back to her older gimmick of evil Emma, going forward.
Now, there is a big reason why WWE has cancelled the angle, for now. As per the recent reports, Emma was told about this angle being scrapped just on that day hours before the show started. The reason is supposedly Emma’s inability to fit into the role, properly.
WWE creative realised that the former NXT Diva will be suitable for the role which is similar to gorgeous gimmicks that Sable or Torrie Wilson used to possess. Since they are planning very big with this character, they liked to hold it until a proper option comes toward them.

The sources also confirmed that WWE might have already found an ideal choice for the role who would do proper justice to it. Hence, they decided not to carry it forward with Emma. The delay in the debut has also hurt the storyline in the process.
Kelly Kelly who was earlier reported to sign with WWE is the speculated choice who would be given this role wrapped up with the gorgeous gimmick. She is someone who has always been called the ‘Barbie doll’ in the WWE during her first stint here and it will be easier for her to pull off a similar role upon return.

According to Dirty Sheets podcast, the former Divas champion has signed a two-year contract with the WWE. Most likely, she will be returning on WWE TV during this year’s summer as part of the flagship show, Monday Night Raw.
Her re-signing with the company is the speculated reason that created a dilemma for the creative whether they will continue with Emma or not. After much thought, they decided not to go with her and opted out for the experienced one.
