WWE: Monday Night Raw June 5th, 2017 – Results

Samoa Joe appeared on this brand new edition of WWE Monday Night Raw as the new number one contender for the Universal Championship.

He delivered a strong message to the beast incarnate. Check out the full results from the show hosted by the Mohegan Sun Arena, Casey-Plaza, Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania.

A huge match between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt kicked off the show in style. These two took each other to the limit. The crowd showered Roman Reigns with insane boos but he managed to pick up the win on the Eater of the World via a mammoth spear.

The new number one contender for the Universal Championship, Samoa Joe appeared on WWE Raw to call out Brock Lesnar but he got Paul Heyman, instead. He decided to lock in the Coquina Clutch on the advocate in order to provoke Brock Lesnar to return on Raw.

Later, we got confirmed that the beast is returning, next week. Samoa Joe continued his momentum by featuring in a match against Seth Rollins on the main event of the night. Joe again picked up the win by locking in the devastating submission manoeuvre.

Dean Ambrose interrupted Elias Samson who was constantly insulting the WWE fans. But, The Miz distracted him by appearing on the tron. Samson capitalised on this by hitting his finishing manoeuvre on Ambrose.

The Lunatic Fringe, however, sought his redemption by appearing on the Miz’s celebration for the Intercontinental championship win. He put down the A-lister by disguising as the camera-man and connecting with the Dirty Deeds.

Alexa Bliss was forced to compete in a championship match against Nia Jax. But, she chose a wise way to get rid of her by walking away off the match. A frustrated Nia delivered an onslaught attack on Mickie James and Dana Brooke who were present at the ringside.

The storyline for Kurt Angle continued, as he had a private chat with Corey Graves on the show. Quite interestingly, Big Cass was ambushed this week by an unknown person instead of Enzo Amore.

Enzo tagged with Big Show to defeat the team of Gallows-Anderson. TJP beat Mustafa Ali in a matchup from Cruiserweight division. In a rematch from last week, Kalisto was able to pin Titus O’Neil but pulling his tights.
