The go-home episode of WWE Raw took place last night (January 23) at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. It was expected to be one hell of a night which would build up major hypes for the 30th annual Royal Rumble event. Goldberg was already announced for the show and the likes of Brock Lesnar, Undertaker were also expected to showcase their presence. Here’s what transpired on the show:

Roman Reigns got his US title rematch

WWE Raw kicked off in a chorus of cheers and boos as Roman Reigns’ music hit the arena. The shark cage was placed in the middle of the ring as he claimed to be the new Universal Champion, come this Sunday. Jeri-KO interrupted to have another confrontation with him. Reigns demanded his US title rematch from Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens accepted on his behalf to set up the match.
