WWE News: Finn Balor Comments On The Club Reunion And Getting A Universal Title Shot

Finn Balor is a true representative of the WWE by all means. He was absent from WWE Raw for a couple of weeks since the company sent him to a tour of Japan. The purpose behind this one was to recruit fresh talents from the country n behalf of the company. He is quite famous for his stint in the country with the likes of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. Their formed stable, the Bullet Club has received legendary status by the fans.

So, ever since all of them came to the main roster of the WWE, fans asked him as of when we could see a potential reunion of the club members. In fact, considering it one as one of the iconic factions of all time, WWE fans have always wanted to see a match between The Club and The Shield.

Since Finn Balor is not involving in the championship picture and Gallows-Anderson too is not involved in any of the storylines, it gives the creative a bigger chance to make the reunion happen. This will also raise the bars for them on the roster.

The issue was raised in an interview with news.com.au while promoting an upcoming tour of the WWE in Australia. The Demon King mentioned the Australian crowd as one of the best crowds in all around the globe. So, the superstars from Raw are indeed very exciting to perform on this tour.

While talking about the possibilities of a reunion with the club members, he stated as ‘the past’ and so does not look forward to it. Here are his full comments:

“Myself, Luke, Karl have a lot of history together and AJ (Styles) is on Smackdown, the possibility of perhaps reuniting in the future, sure it’s tasty to a lot of people. I think individually right now we’re all stronger on our own paths. Maybe that will change in the future. We may need to reassemble the troops, but for now, I think we’re all doing fine.”

The championship opportunity was also discussed in the interview. Finn Balor has never been granted his singles championship opportunity after he lost the title at last year’s Summerslam. So, he indicated that perhaps a match is coming up against either Samoa Joe or Brock Lesnar.

“Perhaps considering the fact I never actually lost the Universal Title, maybe at some point, I’ll be granted a rematch — maybe against Samoa Joe or Brock Lesnar.”

Balor is still being rumoured to find himself in a championship match at the Summerslam PPV. A triple threat or fatal-4-way match for the Universal title is being planned for the summer’s biggest event including him.
