The WWE has officially declared the annual edition of The Tribute To The Troops. This is the one night of the year where WWE hosts a special show for the USA Armed Forces for their contribution to the nation by serving all around the globe. Free passes are offered to the soldiers and their family members for the show.

This year, the show will be hosted at the Naval Base San Diego in San Diego, California. All the superstars from both Raw and Smackdown will be performing on the show to make it worth a watch show. This will not be a live show, and hence it will be taped earlier than the actual airing date on the USA Network. WWE.com provided the details of the same alongside the detailed activities of the WWE Superstars around the week,

“WWE announced that the 15th annual WWE Tribute to the Troops event would be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Naval Base San Diego with a two-hour special airing Thursday, Dec. 14, at 8/7 C on USA Network.”

“While in San Diego, WWE Superstars will spend time giving back to military personnel and their families. Activities include a Be a STAR bullying prevention rally, as well as hospital visits and military outreach initiatives at various installations, including Naval Base San Diego, Naval Air Station North Island and San Diego Naval Medical Center.”

The Chairman of the board in WWE, Vince McMahon also let his heartfelt gratitude known to the soldiers of USA with the following comments,

“It is a privilege to honor our servicemen and women for their commitment and sacrifice to our nation. Tribute to the Troops is our most meaningful show of the year, and we are proud to continue the tradition at Naval Base San Diego.”

It is going to be the WWE Week on the USA Network during the Tribute to the Troops event. Monday Night Raw will be hosted on December 11th at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio whereas Smackdown Live will go on the air the very next day from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Just one day later, the Tribute to the Troops will be hosted on the same network on December 14th. Also, on December 17th, it will mark the annual Clash of Champions PPV. It will be the last brand exclusive PPV of the year 2017. Smackdown will get to host the show at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
