WWE News: Alberto Del Rio Takes More Nasty Shots At WWE
Apr 25, 2017 at 4:42 PM
Alberto Del Rio is considered as a seasoned veteran around the pro-wrestling industry. During his first tenure in the WWE, the superstar (real name Jose Rodriguez) had quite an eventful run where he became world champion on four different occasions.
However, he earned quite a fame for his angry image that gave him the nick-name of a ‘bad boy’. Triple H did not like him for this particular reason. He was involved in a backstage altercation with an employee in 2014 leading him to get fired from the company.
WWE still brought him back in 2015 since Vince McMahon wanted but Triple H was never fond of him. Unfortunately, Del Rio fell victim to lacklustre storylines forcing him to leave the company, last year. Also, he got engaged with Paige leading him to the dog house of the WWE creative.
Ever since getting released, he took numerous shots at his previous employer and especially at the Triple H. The tradition is continuing with the latest Instagram posts from him where he indirectly blasted WWE for misbehaving with their employees.
As you can see in the given posts Del Rio thanked the owners of the Impact Wrestling for taking good care of their talents. He stated that despite the superstars’ status, they treat everyone with equality. He seemed grateful to the Anthem Sports to bring him back for the tapings.
The following lines are a clear indication of what he has been through in the WWE during the end of his tenure.
“You have to be there tonight amigos, #impactwrestling bringing back this bad boy! They have it all here in this company, giving everyone a chance to shine, not just sitting in catering!”
As reported earlier, WWE wanted to bring him back, once more prior to Wrestlemania but he denied. Rather, he signed a full-time deal with Impact Wrestling. The promotion kept faith in him and handed him the Global Force Wrestling championship.
In addition, it was announced that Del Rio will be in a champion vs. champion match against Lashley at the biggest PPV of Impact Wrestling’s calendar i.e. Slammeversary.
