The Wyatt Family has appeared this week’s “Off the Top Rope” segment from ESPN SportsCenter i.e. hosted by Jonathon Coachman. Though the coach was not there this week as he has flown to cover the UFC 200 PPV in Las Vegas and his position was filled by Todd Grisham who interviews Bray Wyatt and his flock.
Bray Wyatt was asked about how the idea of the Wyatt family came about in WWE. He answered by saying that they had never thought that the family would come so far. The gimmick of the family was created for earning respect from the fans and now with three years being passed, they feel that they have earned the respect of the WWE Universe. He loves the fact that each of the people loves to become the firefly once the light goes out.
When asked about Wrestlemania encounters, Bray Wyatt was mesmerized by the aura that Undertaker has. He faced the Deadman at the event’s 31st edition. Wyatt thinks that facing Undertaker at Wrestlemania is above all the titles and he is thankful that he has accomplished that. Speaking of this year’s Wrestlemania encounter with the Rock, he recalled the moment as a cool one to share the screen with The Great One.
Going one step ahead Bray Wyatt said that the Rock is a bigger star than the Undertaker and he still has some unfinished business with him. So, he wants to end the feud with The People’s champion with a match at Wrestlemania 33.
The Rock got interrupted by Bray Wyatt and his disciples and in the heat of the confrontation decided to wrestle Eric Rowan of the family. He wrestled in a match to beat Rowan within six seconds to create another record as the shortest match in Wrestlemania history.
The Eater of the World has also declared that Jake “The Snake” Robert is his all-time favorite wrestler.
