We wonder if it would have turned into an on-screen rivalry to boost up the title mentioned superstar’s career. It is helping him in neither ways, so far. We are talking about Cesaro who had his frustrations on the Authority and especially on the commissioner of Raw, Stephanie McMahon. It would have been great if the confrontation was shown on the television to drag it further as to hype up the career of Cesaro.
Instead, WWE has chosen to delete the segment from the Draft Center taping which was exclusively aired on the WWE Network. In the segment, Cesaro was clearly upset after being drafted on Raw and directly went on to shoot on Stephanie McMahon. Interestingly where every superstar was seen giving their reaction after getting drafted, this particular segment got nixed out from the TV coverage which gave birth to the rumor that Cesaro is going to be punished in the upcoming weeks.
Cesaro was giving an interview to Jo Jo where he went on saying how he would have been a better fit for the Smackdown brand since it is the only brand which is going to be a quality wrestling show which will quality in-ring product. Furthermore, he doubted over the fact for how long can Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon co-exist. The Swiss Superman also took on the GMs of both Raw and Smackdown and said WWE should be less focused on them. Below is the quote from the interview as reported by wrestlezone.com:
“I think Raw going forward needs to be about the Superstars, it needs to be about the performers in the ring and not about how Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley co-exist. They need to be there to mediate and make the best show, but that does not need to be the focus. So, the focus should be on the Superstar who got drafted. We have Seth Rollins, we have New Day, we have Finn Bálor coming up from NXT – those are the people we should be here talking about. But we’re talking about Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley which is annoying to me.”
