WWE News: Chris Jericho Makes An Interesting Statement On His WWE Future

Ever since Chris Jericho has been away from the WWE programming, it’s been widely speculated, as of when he would make his return.

The WWE fans can’t get enough of Y2J and they want to see him back as early as possible. Currently, the GOAT is performing with his music band, Fozzy around all the cities of USA.

Recently, while travelling around the cities, he was asked about his WWE future and he made quite an interesting statement about it. In contrast to his earlier statement, while leaving the company, he stated that it will not bother him if he does not wrestle again, ever. Check out his full comments here:

“WWE, it’s the brand name. I’m just a cog. An important part of it, people like it. But this is our band. People are here to see us. That to me is a little more of a rush. It’s not under the auspices of another name. It’ll be a long time before I go back. If I ever do go back, if I never go back, it’s fine. If I never wrestle another match, it wouldn’t bother me.”

There’s no need to panic for Jerichoholics around the world since this is just a professional comments from the six-time world champion who is a true veteran on the pro-wrestling circuit. A legend like him does not intend to break the mystery around his return, for sure. So he maintained that in public.

WWE’s tour of Japan has already started advertising him for the tour in the month of June. He is scheduled to appear in three live events on that span, back to back. On 28th of June, he is set to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. He is also listed on June 30th and July 31st at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan alongside other Smackdown roster hinting his inevitable return.

The fact that WWE is continuing the storyline between Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho is a direct indication that he will return to seek revenge on his former best-friend. It is expected that he will be back in time for Money in the Bank costing Owens his United States title against AJ Styles.
