WWE News: Chris Jericho vs Kenny Omega Made Official for January
Nov 10, 2017 at 3:14 PM
As a WWE fan, Chris Jericho is a famous superstar for us. For those who are not familiar with the name of Kenny Omega, he is a quality star around the independent circuit and is currently under a contract with New Japan Pro-wrestling (NJPW). At this time, we should gear up to see these two locking horns in an NJPW event.
For quite sometimes now, Y2J has been building up a feud with Kenny Omega on Twitter handle. They went on to go a bad mouth about each other on the social media site hinting a potential showdown.
However, it was Omega who decided to close the chapter by burying the hatchet that was supposed to end the recent happenings.
However, we were wrong to understand the situation, as the pro-wrestling industry is highly unpredictable. In a recent edition of NJPW Power Struggle, a video package aired on the Tron that witnessed the former WWE Champion challenging Omega in a match at the Wrestle Kingdom 12 in January.

Following this, the challenge was accepted, and the match between these two was made official by NJPW. They are supposed to headline the biggest PPV of the NJPW promotion on January 4th at the Tokyo Dome arena.
It is quite a huge deal for the pro-wrestling fans since the lineup is unthinkable. Chris Jericho is a WWE guy, whereas, his opponent is outside of the company. So, the deal between the two parties should be interesting. The fans will enjoy Jericho’s return to the ring against one of the most famous names around the indie scenes.

Hmm…I’m missing your point re: @IAmJericho
I love this creative as the fans get a payoff too https://t.co/49tAhhxUJN— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) November 5, 2017
Good for everyone, yes, but why not just be straight up about it? Why try to hide it in a worked online shoot? Its insulting to fans.

The internet has blasted after the news was confirmed. We wonder what Vince McMahon’s reaction would be after one of the most trusted guys under his banner is going to wrestle outside his promotion. But, the Twitter war between Jericho and Omega has fooled us, for sure.
While we have expected to see Jericho back in the WWE ring shortly, he will feature in a match for NJPW.
It is what Jericho had to say after he started to trend on the social media sites:
Well We fooled your stupid ass…. https://t.co/N7r20WOXuK
